I have to take just one step from the railway platform on to the train. Once I board the train I would be whisked off to my destination.
What was the difficulty?
It has been over 20 years, but I have not boarded the train.
Why not?
The train and the railway platform are metaphorically used to denote spirituality and world.
The word 'Spirituality' is used in the sense of dedicated pursuit of the highest SELF, which Upanishads reiterate is the purpose of human life.
The word 'world' is used to denote the personal world existing in the minds of each of us, world colored by likes, dislikes and the entangling attachments.
