ॐ सह नाववतु| सह नौ भुनक्तु| सह वीर्य करवावहै|
तेजस्वी नावधीतमस्तु |
मा विद्विषावहै|
ॐ शांति:! शांति:!! शांति:!!!
May that Supreme Self protect both of us (student and teacher) together. May take care of both of us together. May we together have powerful faculty of learning. May the learning of both of us be bright. May we not hate. May the three obstacles be at peace.

Visvajit sacrifice by Väjasravasa
Translation- Once upon a time, Väjasravasa (also known as Uddälaka, of Gautama lineage)performed the Visvajit sacrifice desiring its result. He had a son named Naciketä. (I.1.1)
