ना तीरथ में, ना मूरत में
ना एकांत निवास में
ना मंदिर में, ना मस्जिद में
ना काबे कैलास में
में तो तेरे पास में बंधे

Where do you search me?
I am with you
Not in pilgrimage, nor in icons
Neither in solitudes
Not in temples, nor in mosques
Neither in Kaba nor in Kailash
I am with you o man
I am with you
Kabir has no shop - no spiritual center
Amrutvani of Kabir
If you say God dwells only in the mosque or
He dwells only in an idol,
then who dwells in the rest of the world?
Search for Him in your heart,
search for Him deep within yourself.
That is the place where He lives, that is His true abode.
